2026-2027 Membership Instructions
As the new rodeo season is coming upon us, here is some information that will help you get your membership paperwork in order. Please follow the instructions listed below to help aid you through our process. State paperwork is available on www.chsra.com for new and returning members. The national membership portal will open for renewal members on August 1, 2026. New members must first complete the state application and upon approval, will continue to complete their national registration.
Your national and state paperwork must be uploaded at least 3 WEEKS before the closing of entries to ensure you can rodeo - your first rodeo of the season. To rodeo in September, your national registration or renewal must be completed (NHSRA dues paid) before August 15, 2026. All state and national paperwork must be completed and uploaded by August 20th, 2026. All state (CHSRA) dues must be paid by August 31, 2026.

Membership Costs
NHSRA & CHSRA Membership Fees: $235 (NHSRA: $139 + CHSRA: $100)
NJHSRA & CJHRA Membership Fees: $200 (NJHSRA: $100 + CJHRA: $100)
Associate Membership Fee: $25 per parent
CHSRA Raffle Tickets mandatory: 4 tickets @ $50/each, total of $200 (due at the 1st rodeo signups)
D3 Sponsorship: minimum of $250 per member. Contestants' sponsorship money is due by their second rodeo and must be received before entries open for the third rodeo. (Sponsorship funds must be submitted on time to remain eligible to compete.)
Silent auction item for awards banquet: $50, minimum value, per family.
